Community Supported Agriculture (CSA): Pre-Order Produce Bag
A collection of fresh, nutritious produce, farm-fresh eggs, and other handmade food items.
The bag contents change slightly week to week based on what the farmers have ready to harvest. All bags contain 1/2 dozen eggs, a baked item, 7-10 produce items. There is typically between 15-20 lbs of food.
For example, these are the contents from a bag from week one (but later weeks may have okra, turnips, cucumbers, and other items):
eggs 1/2 dozen
strawberries
microgreens
onions
swiss chard
bok choy
sorrel greens
mixed salad
zucchini
PRICING DETAILS:
We have curated these bags to be an excellent value for everyone! We have a sliding scale payment option. Limited quantities available.
FREE
Only available to For Oak Cliff members. Families experiencing food insecurity who have difficulty accessing fresh produce can pick up a bag for free by emailing julianna.yeefoon@foroakcliff.org. We will encourage families to apply for SNAP and TANF and provide other food resources. Select the FREE MEMBERS option when you check out. Membership is required; you can sign up when you pick up your bag.
HALF-PRICE
SNAP users — your bag will cost $15 on your SNAP card. When you purchase, select the SNAP option. YOU MUST BRING YOUR SNAP CARD WITH YOU TO PICK UP THE FIRST TIME. It must have a balance on it in order to use it for the CSA bag.
FULL-PRICE
Retail price is $30 for the entire bag of produce. This is an excellent value, as you are getting farm-fresh produce at-cost with no overhead profits built in. Let our nonprofit subsidize the cost for you.
